ABOUT US
The Music and Art Academy was established in September of 2002 in Marlboro, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Studying at the Academy provides a unique opportunity for musical and artistic growth. The Academy offers a fun and professional atmosphere with a variety of courses, taught by a knowledgeable and dedicated faculty. Our goal is to promote quality teaching and quality learning in a highly professional environment. Our faculty seeks to help students achieve their utmost musical and artistic potential as well as prepare them for musical colleges and universities. Recitals, competitions, festivals and art exhibitions will take place frequently. The Music and Art Academy is a proud member of the Music Teacher National Association.
The Music and Art Academy is a professional music and art school. We have a staff of over 25 musicians and artists, professional certified music teachers with music Bachelors and Masters degrees, teaching on their specialty instruments. Over 300 students from ages 4 to Seniors, beginners through professional musicians. We prepare students for music colleges and the Royal School of Music examinations. Learn for your own enjoyment, or study seriously.
CLASSES WE OFFER
Private music lessons are available from beginner to advance. Lessons are offered in: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums, Violin, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Recorder, Musical Drama, Art, Music Theory, and Russian Language. TEACHER INFO
Most Academy teachers hold Masters degrees from the most prestigious musical institutions around the world, and have extensive performing experience in the instrument they teach. Academy faculty place emphasis on helping their students obtain the fundamental skills needed to play their instrument in a short period of time. They work well with students at any level of training and ability and offer individual instruction tailored to each student so that they meet their fullest potential. SCHOOL POLICY
Payment for the month is due on the last week of the prior month. Missed lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or no make-up will be given. Make-up lessons are limited to 3 per school year and the teacher's availability. Missed make-up lessons will not be made up. Payments not recieved by the last week of the month are subject to a $10 late charge.
